Albuquerque, N.M. – Vibrant is pleased to announce five of its staff have earned their FAA Repairman certifications. The certifications allow these professionals to perform process compensated resonance testing (PCRT) of critical aerospace engine components, aircraft wheels, and bearing components without licensed mechanic oversight.
To be eligible for this certificate, maintenance professionals must meet stringent experience and proficiency requirements for the work they perform at their employer. Vibrant’s certified repairmen have an average of 10 years of PCRT experience each.
“By having certified repairmen on staff, we can provide aerospace companies a smoother experience for their nondestructive testing,” said Vibrant President Lem Hunter. “Vibrant is an FAA Part 145 repair station with an AS9100D Quality System. By having FAA certified personnel, Vibrant keeps all components in an FAA-approved chain of custody with considerable quality oversight that extends beyond FAA requirements. Together this reduces the audit burden on our customers.”
