Vibrant Corporation announced today that it has promoted Greg Weaver to Vice-President of Operations. In his new role, Mr. Weaver will oversee PCRT testing services and manufacturing operations, routine application engineering, quality system management and serve on Vibrant’s business development team. Since joining Vibrant in 2008, Mr. Weaver has held the Quality Manager and Director of Operations Positions. “Greg has added tremendous value as he has grown into this role over the past five years,” said Vibrant CEO Lem Hunter. “His extensive knowledge of NDT, manufacturing methods, and Quality Systems coupled with his mastery of the PCRT technology make him an exceptionally well-rounded leader.”
Prior to joining Vibrant, Mr. Weaver worked for nine years as the Quality Assurance/Nondestructive Testing Manager at Chromalloy Nevada, where he developed nondestructive testing applications for gas turbine engine component castings. He holds ASNT Level III certifications in Radiography and Liquid Penetrant Inspection. He has an extensive background in turbine component repair, manufacturing and inspection. Mr. Weaver is a US Navy veteran and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nevada Reno.
