Vibrant Corporation has announced a new licensing and manufacturing agreement with Magnaflux, a division of Illinois Tool Works (ITW). The agreement grants Vibrant manufacturing rights for Process Compensated Resonance Testing (PCRT) systems, and also provides the Company long term access to core intellectual property for the PCRT technology.
“The ability to build PCRT systems in-house is a tremendous asset for Vibrant,” said Vibrant Director of Operations Greg Weaver. “The agreement allows us to incorporate improvements we’ve made to PCRT technology into the systems we use to service our Aerospace and Power Generation customers. These enhancements will also help Magnaflux to better serve their rapidly growing customer base in the Automotive market.”
“This is the kind of win-win arrangement we’ve come to expect in our dealings with Magnaflux,” said Lem Hunter, CEO of Vibrant. “Consolidation of intellectual property and manufacturing brightens the future of both companies.” Future PCRT systems will be produced by Vibrant Corporation in Albuquerque, NM and by Vibrant GmbH in Limburg, Germany.
