Vibrant Corporation has been granted another patent – #9335300 – further expanding on approaches for detecting defects using surface acoustic wave (SAW) modes of vibration. The ability to better detect small surface flaws, combined with the bulk/internal inspection capabilities or more traditional PCRT methods, will provide many industries a reduced risk of premature failure in critical components.
